Popularized around 2008, Netlicious was developed as a freeware application to bridge the gap between cloud-based bookmarks and local desktop access.
Local Synchronization: The software connected directly to the official Delicious API to download and generate a local copy of a user’s entire library of links, tags, and notes onto their Windows PC.
Offline Access: It allowed internet users to browse, search, and manage their cloud bookmarks without needing an active web connection.
